Heather Ward

Heather Ward has been a full time stylist for over 30 years. She spent her first 10 years up in the Chicagoland area before moving to North Texas. She has an expert eye for color and specializes in giving clients a hairstyle that works with both their face shape and maintenance needs. Heather enjoys working with clients who seek consistent service and she doesn’t feel the need to experiment with the latest trends if they do not fit their unique desires or lifestyle. Along with color and cuts, Heather also works with you to grow and maintain your own natural nails.

Heather lives in the Wylie area with her husband Jeff, a Labrador named Daisy, a Basset Hound named Joleen, and an 80 pound sweet "Jelly" mix that will melt your heart in one smooch.

In her spare time she is an E500 RYT yoga instructor and lover of knowledge and new things… she will forever and always be a student.

The Hair'em and Nail'em opened it's doors in old downtown Plano in September 2002. Our mission was to provide a space where we could offer multiple services without the hustle and bustle that happens in larger salons. After 16 years, we were busting at the seams and outgrowing our quaint salon space, so we branched out to find bigger and better things.

Spring of 2024 landed us in our current location, inside Gallerie Salon Suites. We strive to bring professional hair care products and results to all of our clients. We are committed to keeping our spaces clean and odor free, so we use natural, family owned and/or organic products whenever available. Because of our intimate setting, we are a by-appointment only salon.

We have a passion for quality service without compromising on the fun and laughter. We are not  the type of stylists normally found in cookie-cutter salons. We'd love to get to know you too, so give us a call today and we will get you in our books.

Larisa Parsons

I've had a long history in the beauty and fashion industry... After graduating from a fashion school in Los Angeles, I worked in many high end clothing boutiques and eventually found my way to makeup. I soon realized I had a talent and loved helping women look their best you. After working in the makeup/beauty industry for 6 years I "retired" to stay home with my 2 girls. I kept my foot in the industry by freelancing for special occasions, weddings and teaching classes. After 13 years at home, it was time to come out of "retirement". This time, I decided to try my hand at hair.

I'm not afraid to try new things. I love turning girls into unicorns or women into blonde bombshells. If you want your locks chopped, I am your woman! (But I'll keep it at your waist too.) I'm always learning and growing and happy to work with Heather to continuously learn from.

Outside of making women look and feel their best, you can find me running, at the gym, at the yoga studio, driving my girls around town or eating.

I can't wait to meet you!
